Role of parents:

 

We kindly request parents to purchase the school uniform from the designated supplier to ensure consistency in appearance and maintain a high standard of presentation. The quality of garments from our approved supplier supports this goal. Parents are responsible for ensuring that uniforms are clean and in good condition so that children feel confident and comfortable among their peers. We also encourage parents to support and promote the school’s uniform policy at home..

Role of teachers:

 

Teachers are responsible for ensuring that students in their classes adhere to the school’s uniform policy. Uniforms are checked daily, and any issues are noted. The school management will consider written requests for exemptions on religious or medical grounds.

Jewellery:

 

Jewellery is generally not permitted, as it can pose a health and safety risk. The only exceptions are:

• A wristwatch

• A pair of small stud earrings (one in each ear lobe)

The school will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to jewellery.

Extra-Curricular Activities

Extra-Curricular Activities & Gifted and Talented Programme At Iqra English School, we support the development of the whole child—both in and out of the classroom. Our Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) and Gifted and Talented programmes give students the chance to explore their interests, build new skills, and grow in confidence. We also take part in local tournaments and events, giving students a chance to represent the school and celebrate their talents.

Student Council

At Iqra English School, we believe it is essential for every child to have the opportunity to express their opinions and feelings about matters concerning their school. In Years 3 to 6, each class elects a representative to join the Student Council. Regular meetings are held to discuss important topics and drive positive changes within the school. These student leaders serve as positive role models and ambassadors for their school, demonstrating enthusiasm and dedication to school initiatives and events.
