Role of parents:

We appeal to parents to purchase the uniform from the supplier to ensure uniformity of children and tidiness of presentation which is ensured by the quality of the garments from the chosen supplier. It is the responsibility of parents to see to it that uniforms are clean and in good repair so that the child will feel comfortable amongst his/her peers. Parents should encourage their children to support the uniform policy.

Role of teachers:

It is the teachers’ responsibility to ensure that children in their classes comply with uniform policies. Uniforms are checked daily and transgressions noted. The management of the school will consider written requests for individuals to have special dispensation for either religious or medical reasons.

Jewellery:

Jewellery can become a health and safety hazard in the school situation and is therefore not allowed with the exception of the following:

  • A wrist watch
  • A pair of stud-type earrings (one in each ear lobe)
The school will not be accountable for any loss or damage to jewelry.
The support and co-operation of all parents in implementing this policy is greatly appreciated; it has been implemented with the health and safety of your child/ren in mind.
